Museum of the Year is one of the most visible moments in the UK cultural calendar. For the 10th anniversary, Art Fund wanted something that felt like a proper celebration — not just a refresh, but a step up — carried across campaign artwork, digital assets, print and the ceremony itself.

Idea

The idea came from the logo itself. The starburst shape was already there — I pushed it further, abstracting it into a spotlight: the moment a winner is announced. From that one move, everything else followed.

Making

From the spotlight concept we built a flexible design system that could grow and adapt each year. Bold, celebratory and grounded in the existing brand, but with a new sense of occasion — applied across campaign artwork, digital assets, printed materials and event collateral.
